Opening sequence analysis


Opening Sequence Analysis- The Conversation· The music used may indicate the time period in which the film is set. · The focus point of the camera is unclear at first: it appears to be zooming in on nothing in particular. It then focuses on a character: A street performer. The camera then follows him as he entertains a member of the public. The camera then follows this member of the public.· At the end of the opening credits, A sniper is shown. This, along with the way in which the camera follows the character, may indicate the characters fate.

The Brief


Preliminary task; This section of the task involved filming and creating a 60 second film. This involved a group of buisnes men who were planning to do a exchange with a set of documents and money, throughout the film the main character is confronted with various problems stopping him from making the exchange and ends up getting mugged at the end.

Main task: To create a 2 minute film which includes opening credits and titles. All of the material must be original and made by the students, with exception of sound effects and sound which can be taken from a copy right free source. All can be completed in a group of 4 maximum.
